USB-UIRT and Girder 4 - check!

Postby Mastiff » Thu Jun 23, 2005 8:35 am

Jon, I'm working on converting my full setup from Girder 3 to Girder 4, and today I connected the USB-UIRT to Girder 4 for the very first time. No problems what so ever. Just thought you'd like to know that. :D I will do extensive testing the following week, so if there's something wronge anywhere there's a good chance I'll find it. But for now learning, receiving and transmitting seems to work perfectly. Good work!

Good to hear! Please keep in mind that the G4 plugin is still 'beta' and feedback would be great! You'll note it has been simplified from the G3 plugin which has an awful lot of 'knobs'.

Yeah, I like it! One thing, though: There is a configuration button in each action that doesn't do anything.

Can you please post the files?

Jon-

I'm having trouble over at the Promixis forum - could you maybe post the G4 plugin files here?

Girder 4

Postby Guest » Sat Jul 23, 2005 2:22 pm

Has anyone had the courage to migrate to Girder 4 from 3? My config on 3 is flawless controling my ac, lights, alarm, and meedio. I can not seem to bring myself to reinvent what has taken 6 monthes to create. Is there any functional (not configuration) benefits to 4?
Thanks
Robert
