Has anyone been able to find a way to control Windows 7 Media Center with the USB-UIRT?

Windows 7 Media Center

Is this going to be addressed? Windows 7 Media Center doesn't recognize my USB-UIRT

The reason is because the IR interface for MCE is different. They (Microsoft) calls it a "Microsoft ehome infrared Transceiver" In my case it came with the tuner card, remote, above mentioned device. I don't know if the USB-UIRT can act as the ehome transceiver or not though. I am actually using both on my system IE the automation software controls MCE and other stuff in the house via the USB-UIRT and other interfaces.

Try EventGhost Keyboard Emulation

You can use EventGhost to emulate keyboard shortcuts to control Windows Media Center with a remote control which is what I am using in Windows 7 x64.
