USB-UIRT Forum

I have been having an email exchange with Jon on this issue but I thought I'd post here as well.

The Vista drivers will install in and Vista says the USB-UIRT is working properly yet no program, even lrnhelper, will see the USB-UIRT.

Works fine under XP, but not Vista (on my 32 or 64 machines).

Anyone else have an issue installing in Vista or can make any suggestions?

Had the same issue, neither Girder, Eventghost nor Lrnhelper could connect to the USBUIRT even though it was correctly installed.

Turned out that it was Everest Ultimate (maybe in conjuction with the use of a Vista Sidebar gadget that connected to Everest) v4.5 that caused the trouble, and updating Everest to v5 solved the issue.
