Can anypne please tell me how to turn on the multi zones on the latest uirt, it has a z and I understand how to edit the IR commands used with BTV.
I have yet to get a stereo/mono splitter but once I have this I want to complete the installation to control upto 3 set top boxes using the IR senders that came with one of the Happauge cards 500 MCE cards I also intend to use.

I have looked and looked and can only find how to reppace a file in the system32 directory and then it also says to add a girder file but I do not have and have read I do not need Girder.

I have spend hours searching this site and BTV site to no avail.

Not sure if this helps but if you use xPL (FREE H.A software) it has a plugin for the usbuirt which supports it zoning feature......Some info here on xPL

Finally got it all working and it was actually very sinple
No need to change and drivers or add patches etc.

Just use the Z1,Z2 etc and when it is all prigged in it worked, have been unable to get a stereo to mono splitter at the moment so can only ise 2 of the zones, shame, given I only have 2 STB it is fine for now.
