Problem with homeseer driver for USB-UIRT

I have just bought the USB-UIRT device.
I have installed the driver for Homeseer version 2.2.0.11.
The driver version for the interface is 1.1.0.0 (latest version)

The problem is that I get an error message in the Homeseer log:

“02-06-2007 13:04:23 - Error - Initializing Infrared interface USB-UIRT Interface: Unable to connect to USB-UIRT device! Please ensure device is connected to the computer.â€
