Humax HDCI 2000 Remote Codes

Postby ro2 » Fri Apr 13, 2007 4:05 pm

I'm using the learn helper utility to scan in the remote codes of the Humax box. If I press 0 on the remote control I get the following code:

0000 006D 0000 0002 0029 0184 0015 0E4F

I found the actual codes for 0-9 on a Tivo site and 0 should be:

0000 006d 0029 0001 0156 00ac 0015 0016 0015 0016 0014 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0014 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0014 0041 0015 0016 0014 0016 0015 0041 0014 0016 0015 0016 0015 0040 0015 0016 0015 0016 0014 0016 0015 0041 0014 0041 0015 0016 0014 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0014 0041 0015 0040 0015 0016 0015 0016 0014 0041 0015 0040 0015 0041 0014 0041 0015 06c6 0156 0056 0015 0e4c 0156 0056 0015 0e4c 0156 0056 0015 0e4c 0156 0056 0015 0ed8

Anyone know why it's not displaying the correct code so I can scan in the rest of them?

You may want to check the positioning of the remote during the Learn process. For some reason, the first burst of the code is being 'missed' by the USB-UIRT.

It seems to do that quite a bit, something that could have been completely avoided if the develper of the USB-UIRT bios would have only implemented something as simple as a IR code length check.
