Just so I'm clear on this before I start the mass buying to build my HTPC. In-order for me to use the USB-UIRT with two identical digital cable boxes (Scientific Atlantic Charter boxes) I would need two emitters on a mono 1/8" adapter like these

And a male stereo 1/8" adapter to two female mono 1/8" adapters correct? Sorry about the double post.
