Xantech 789-44 Connecting Block

I cannot comment specifically on that model, but in general, there are TWO types of connecting/distribution blocks -- passive and powered (amplified).
The passive blocks merely use resistors to 'divvy' up the signal with no amplification or external power. These will not work with the USB-UIRT.
The amplified/powered type should work fine.
