UIRT Stereo Jack to Xantech IR Blaster

Postby smarty » Wed Dec 27, 2006 7:25 pm

I did not find a clean answer in my forum search.....

I need to use the stereo jack (2 zones) in the back of a usb-UIRT to send IR out to two Xantech IR emitter blasters (model 380-20). Eventually I will have 4 IR output zones (2 UIRT's) controlled.

I have an EE at work that is helping me with an amplifiying circuit shown here: http://www.cocoontech.com/index.php?showtopic=6405

I need to know more about the output of the UIRT, so I can modify the amplifing circuit properly. Presently this circuit causes the IR blaster to fire when the UNCONNECTED zone is sent a signal AND when the connected zone is sent a signal. Ideas??

I know it's like 4 years later... but these forums seem pretty dead. Did you ever get an answer to this?
