Setting up an OSD

Postby Diane » Sun Nov 28, 2004 11:59 pm

I want to be able to control my TV from my PC. I was able to set up Girder so that I can do so by first clicking ou Girder tab and then on F5. Unfortunately Girder switches back to the plugins tab after eac F5, making the whole process annoying!

I would much rather have an onscreen display to click on. I have installed OSDMenu but am usure how to proceed. Do I have to create new file of commands and make OSDMenu learn each? Or is this where event strings come into play? If so, how? I'm lost!

Diane,

I am sure you can do this with Girder, but the appropriate place to ask (where all of the Girder experts are) is on the Girder forums. Go to www.promixis.com for this.

Best Regards,
