Just bought USB-UIRT - can't wait for Linux support!
Posted: Wed Aug 18, 2004 10:13 amHi, all. Just bought the USB-UIRT for my MythTV box for IR Blasting the Dish Network receiver. Yes, that's a Linux box, and, yes, I'm following the threads in the Developers forum. Just wanted you-all to know there is one more Linux user out there for whom your efforts at Linux lirc support is eagerly monitored! 
I've just finished getting MythTV working on my new little Shuttle box with a PVR-350, and this component will be the final piece of the puzzle. Thanks for your hard work! And I hope it will work with kernel 2.6.5, as that's the most successful among us Gentoo users, thus far...
