can't change channels motorola DCT2524

Just purchased Snapstreams beyond tv3 with the hauppage 250btv tuner card and the usb-uirt sender.

Wizard for IR test appears to learn the numbers for motorola dct2524 cable box, and it seems to be sending something, but cable box only picks up 222 and the occasional 0. I've tried adjusting the various settings but nothing really works.

any ideas or is it nonfunctional with this cable box?

It may be trying to tune your cable box too quickly. There are adjustments in BTV for how long each button is sent and also delay between buttons.

Also, you may want to try one of BTV's pre-defined setups. I believe BTV has several pre-defined setups for Mot boxes and similar models may work fine.
