Learning codes ... Motorola DCT1700

Jon,

I purchased a USB-UIRT through BeyondTV and I'm trying to set it up. I'm using the BTV setup wizard and I'm at the screen to teach an unlisted remote. I can't get it to learn even the first number, "1". I've tried to change various settings such as number of repeats and milliseconds between signals with no luck. Any suggestions?

Not sure why I couldn't train it manually, but I tried one of the two default Motorola's in the BTV list, the second one (DVT22xx?) works fine.
